Part Time Self Employed Position - Professional Motorcycle Instructor

We have excellent customer training facilities, boasting a fully equipped classroom and off road training area operating 7 days a week.

Duties

• Teaching basic training all the way through to advanced (when qualified)

• Basic vehicle maintenance & housekeeping duties at our school

• Updating our CRM system & recording customer feedback

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, excellent personable and telephone manner & enjoy working in a team environment and be passionate about motorcycling. ART always look for riders with at least 10 years on a motorcycle, riding through all weathers.

Essentials

Minimum age of 21 with a full motorcycle licence for a minimum of 3 years is essential, a commitment to be the best with the ability to adopt a flexible approach to our customers’ needs are most definitely required. Basic DVSA DBS check is now mandatory.

Desirable Qualities

Any previous teaching roles would be distinct advantage although not essential. Full training will be provided. ART ideally look to work with full licence holders with at least 10 years recent riding experience, in all seasons of the year. We are an equal opportunities employer.

Hours & Salary Package

Training is completed on a commitment basis, starting rate once "downtrained" is £10.00 per hour rising to £13.50 per hour once fully qualified. ART works seven days a week 364 days a year with weekends being our busiest times

Part Time Employed position - Office Administrator - Fun & dynamic environment to work in

Due to our continued success in providing the very best in customer service & very busy diary, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic part time office administrator for our motorcycle training school.  We have excellent customer training facilities, boasting a fully equipped classroom and off road training area operating seven days a week. You will be working from our office inside P&H Motorcycles.

Duties

• Handling face to face customer enquiries as well as by phone and email.

• Diary management and liaising with our team of instructors

• Booking and administering all lessons, courses and DVSA tests

• Updating our CRM system & recording customer feedback

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, excellent telephone manner & enjoy working in a team environment and be passionate about motorcycling.

Essentials

A commitment to being the best and the ability to adopt a flexible approach to our customers’ needs are most definitely required. Must be able to work weekends as well as weekdays.

Desirable Qualities

Any previous administration roles, a full motorcycle licence would be distinct advantage although not essential. We are an equal opportunities employer.

Hours & Salary Package

Must be able to work a minimum of every other Saturday 9am – 5pm & every other Monday 9am – 6pm, plus the possibility of working a few extra days with our events team on open days etc. Starting rate of *£8 per hour, reviews after trial periods. *According to age & experience. Pro rata holiday pay and pension package

Hours & Salary Package

6 days on – 3 days off = approximately 226 days working & 114 days off.

25 days holiday to include Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Year’s Day.

8.5 hours daily - 08:15 to 16:45 (subject to seasonal variation)


Down trained in 1 month, Cardington CBT1 C in 3 months, DAS in 6 - 12 months?

• Training up to Cardington CBT1 C  - £19,500 pa

• Reaching Cardington CBT1 C (supervisor grade) - £21,500

• Training up to Cardington DAS (large bikes) - £23,000 pa

• 18 months after complete DAS rise to - £24,500 pa

• 30 months after complete DAS rise to - £25,500 pa

• At any point after DAS gain your ERS card then an extra £500 pa

• Sick pay and company pension

• A motorcycle and all safety equipment will be provided for you to use whist training and teaching for ART.
