Full A1 Motorcycle Licence

A1 Motorcycle Licence

Lightweight motorcycle or scooter

Learn to ride a motorcycle

You must be a minimum of 17 years old or over, have already passed compulsory basic training, the D.V.S.A. motorcycle theory test and then must take both Modules 1 & 2 of your practical test on a motorcycle that qualifies for A1 entitlement. Module 1 will be carried out at a M.P.T.C (Multi Purpose Test Centre), once this has been passed you are then able to take the on road part (Module 2) this will then give you the A1 Motorcycle entitlement.

A1 Light Motorcycle Test
This test must be taken on a 115cc - 125cc motorcycle of not more than 11kW ( 14.6 Bhp) and be capable of at least 55mph.

Once you have passed this test you are able to ride a lightweight motorcycle of up to 125cc, carry passengers and ride on motorways.

Get rid of the L-Plates and never have to take a CBT again.

When you have held this entitlement for a minimum of two years (or age 19) you can then either upgrade to a standard A2 motorcycle licence by one of the following two options:

1/ At present take another DSA test, Mod 1 and Mod 2. (you will NOT have to take CBT or theory test again)

2/ By 2022 hopefully take a 7 hour training upgrade course, this will hopefully be carried out by us, but as yet no answers available from the D.V.S.A.

Example cost between £700 - £1000 for everything. Unique, guaranteed price, once we have seen you ride!
