Riding without L-Plates

Riding without L-Plates - Full Licence

Riding without L-Plates.

If you would like to ride with a full licence, this means first completing a CBT course and passing a motorcycle theory test before you take the appropriate amount of training with us and then taking a D.V.S.A test at a local test centre.

17 years or above you may take the full A1 licence that allows you to get rid of the L-Plates, take a friend for a ride & show them how much fun it is, pay less for your insurance but best of all , never have to take a C.B.T ever again! At 19 you can upgrade your full A1 to a full A2 licence. Some examples of A1 motorcycles

19 years or above you can take the full A2 licence. This will mean you can ride motorcycles or scooters of a maximum of 47 Bhp (35 kW). This is usually around 500 - 700 cc. Look at some example A2 bikes you can ride.

Ride any size bike at 21. If you take the A2 licence at 19 and pass, you may then upgrade early to the full A licence at 21.
Take full A2 at 20 then upgrade at 22. Take full A2 at 21 then upgrade at 23.

24 years or above you can take the full A motorcycle licence, this will mean you can ride a motorcycle or scooter of any size or power output.
